UMAS — UNPAD Medication Adherence Scale Platform
Client: Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Padjadjaran
Healthcare researchers studying medication adherence in developing countries had no validated measurement tool built for their context. Every existing scale was designed for high-income settings — missing the socioeconomic and systemic barriers that actually drive non-adherence in LMICs.
Built an open-access research platform for the UMAS instrument — a 41-item, four-domain scale psychometrically validated for Low- and Middle-Income Countries. Researchers globally can now request the scale, access citations, and track new studies using UMAS.
